Physical Drama/Stage fighting are an essential part of Drama.
It is more regognised today then it has ever been
But parents don't worry, all students learn first with wooden wasters and plastic prop swords,
so they ALWAYS come home with their finger still attached!!!

DRAMA WITH A DIFFERENCE
Main Gauche is fighting with both Rapier blade and Dagger.
It is looks fantastic on stage and is the main fight method used in a lot of Shakespearian Productions
But make no mistake, it is a senior form of stage fighting that takes a great deal of study.

Stage Fighting is a highly disciplined form of Drama,
It comprises of comedy brawling, Pratt falls and punches
Sword fighting, stunt work and Historical Re-inactment.
This is a fabulous way to encourage safe play with your child as well as developing their self confidence, personal awareness, drama skills.
It also is great for encouraging your child to work within a group framework.
Classes take place every Monday evening at Top Hat and Tails Stage School,
Tan Y Fron,

Rapier and Steel regulary preform throughout the Summer
via Historical Re inactment days based at Whittington Castle, on the Shropshire borders,
as well as various Stage performances throughout the year
To see your child, up on a stage not only swinging a Cutlass, but also falling, rolling, giving and recieving punches without injury is a truely adrenalin charged feeling, that leaves both the audience and student spell bound.
This form of Drama is fantastic for co ordinating a childs control, boosting their confidence and taking them to a fantastic new dramatic height.
